Gentle cleansing
- Wash your hair every three days - any more often and you’ll produce excess sebum, which makes hair greasy. 

- Use shampoo  that’s right for your hair type (dry, greasy, coloured etc.). It should also be gentle, respect the pH of your scalp and moisturise it.

Seen as our hair tips last week we're so popular we've decided to bring you some more, meaning you can take great care of your hair in between appointments for colour and cutting.

‘If possible wash hair daily - think how dirty your face gets by the end of a day, and you take your hair to the same places.’

‘Always have a consultation before you have your colour done. Take in tear sheets of hair colour that you like and also the colour you don’t want.'

‘Dry, split ends make hair look dull and lifeless and having them trimmed off is the fast way to getting hair in good condition.’

‘On wet hair use a wide tooth comb and always gently ease out knots from the ends upwards.’

How To Take Care Of Your Hair At Home!

We love to treat you like celebs in salon but it's not always easy to maintain your hair as well when your at home so we have 5 hair care tips for you which you can use in between appointments! 

• Avoid using hair styling products with alcohol which dries out hair.
• Avoid putting hair styling products directly on your scalp, as if you put it on your scalp you'll clog the pores on your head.
• Don't leave the blowdryer in one spot for more than a few seconds, keep it moving and at a good distance away from your hair.
• Use a brush whose bristles are made from natural animal hairs, it is softer and more flexible, which means less damage will be done to your hair.
• Buy shampoos & conditioners that match your hair type. Trial and error is the best way to find out what specific hair product is best for your hair.

The Long Bob Is Back!

With a new season, there are always new hair trends and one thing we've noticed in the new year is the long bob is making it's way back and we're loving it.

Beyonce kicked off the trend before Christmas and now stars like Kylie Jenner have followed in her foot steps and gone for the chop too.
